Anyone who has followed this year’s Freeride World Tour (FWT) will be aware that multiple competition stages have been suspended this season.
During Ben Richards’ dominant winning streak across all racing events he entered, the successive suspensions might be regarded as a temporary respite for all participants. Following Mr. Richards’ victory at the Freeride World Championships, adverse field conditions led to the cancellation of the Georgia Pro leg. The event was subsequently relocated to Austria, yet it faced suspension once again.
FWT athletes then proceeded to Fieberbrunn with high expectations, only to see this stage suspended as well.
With official competitions called off, FWT competitors, notably Ben Richards and Toby Rafford, engaged in alternative arrangements. The newly launched second episode of Nub TV reveals their daily arrangements, including experiencing local European entertainment venues, conducting unrestricted freeride activities and enjoying diverse cuisines.

The two athletes remain highly active in the industry; only occasional on-site falls and post-event fatigue have affected their daily arrangements.
